The focus of our Toddler Program is based on Maria Montessori’s philosophy of providing an environment which encourages independence, repetition, concentration, order, purposeful movement, and social skills. Each day also brings new opportunities for the development and practice of language skills.
MORNING PRIMARY PROGRAM
3 through 6-year-olds
8:45 a.m. - 11:45 a.m.
3 & 4 day options for 3 & 4-year-olds
The Primary Program is designed to meet the needs of 3 through 6-year-olds and exceeds the criteria of traditional preschools and kindergartens. The prepared environment is designed to capitalize on children’s natural curiosity and love of learning. Students select from a wide variety of Montessori learning materials designed to match their developmental needs, personal interests, and individual abilities.
EXTENDED DAY
3 through 4-year-olds
11:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Our Extended Day Program is built around the Montessori philosophy of letting the children do things for themselves and respecting others and their work. After lunch and a short rest period, individual and group activities are planned to stimulate curiosity and independence, and encourage good feelings toward others.
PRE-K / KINDERGARTEN PROGRAM
4 1/2 through 6-year-olds
8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
An advanced curriculum is followed throughout the year, which focuses on studies in the Sensorial, Math, Language, and Cultural areas. Children in this program are expected to also attend the Morning Primary Program.
SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM
18 mo. through 8-year-olds
Full or part-time hours
Our Summer Camp Program runs for eight weeks and is divided into 1-2 week themes that appeal to children and adults alike, i.e., “Cultures Around the World”, the “Circus”, the “Farm”, “Nature Exploration”, etc. There are age appropriate arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities.
